Offers timed to pollen season, hurricane season and the first freeze
A promotion from a local company follows the local calendar. Here is the shape of ours; the live offer is confirmed by phone.

When offers appear and why
Ormond Beach has three moments a year when it makes sense to nudge people toward the phone. Late winter, when the oaks are about to bury every condenser in pollen and a tune-up before the cooling season pays for itself. Early summer, ahead of hurricane season, when replacing a tired 1990s system in Tymber Creek or Breakaway Trails beats nursing it through August. And late fall, when heat-strip checks and heat pump inspections make sense before the January cold snaps that sometimes dip into the 20s.
Our offers follow that rhythm. They are not national coupons dropped on a date set in a marketing office somewhere else, and they are not the same every year; a wet spring or an early heat wave can move one by a month.
What they usually attach to
Seasonal tune-up pricing, savings on a new high-efficiency Lennox system, air-quality add-ons like filtration or a dehumidifier bundled with a replacement, and occasionally a maintenance agreement incentive. What an offer never does is substitute for honest sizing. A discount on the wrong system is still the wrong system, and a tune-up special does not turn a flooded Tomoka Oaks air handler into a repair job when it should be a replacement. If the offer doesn’t fit your house, we’ll say so and quote the job straight.

Rebates and credits that stack
Two things sit alongside any Cook’s offer. Florida Power & Light’s residential HVAC program takes money off the install price for high-efficiency cooling equipment that meets its standards, provided a participating contractor does the work, and FPL’s free home energy survey can unlock separate insulation and duct rebates. The federal tax credit that used to be the third item is gone for equipment placed in service after 2025. We list what remains on the quote so the real cost is visible in one place.
Offer questions from Ormond Beach
Can I combine a Cook's offer with the FPL rebate?
Usually. Our promotions are ours and FPL’s rebate is FPL’s; they come off different lines. There is no federal tax credit to stack on a system installed after 2025. We confirm the combination on the written quote.
Do offers apply to second homes and rentals on the beachside?
Yes, as long as we’re doing the work. A tune-up special on an Ormond-by-the-Sea condo you only occupy in winter is the same special as one on a Tomoka Oaks house you live in year-round.
I booked a tune-up before the promotion started. Can I still get it?
Ask when the technician arrives or call the office. If the visit falls inside the promotion window we’ll generally honor it; the exact rule is one we’re confirming. [[CONFIRM WITH JERRY]]
